MTPConnect is leading this delegation to help open-up new US market, commercial and collaboration opportunities for Australia’s emerging medtech start-ups and SMEs.
A group of 18 Australian companies and organisations are taking part in the Australian medtech delegation visiting the global medtech hub of Minneapolis, Minnesota (10-11 Oct) and The MedTech Conference (15-17 Oct) in Toronto, Canada.
The program includes a stopover in Minnesota to explore the ‘Medical Alley’ ecosystem, a powerhouse global medtech cluster that’s home to 15,000 healthcare companies employing 500,000 people including some of the world’s biggest device companies.
In Minneapolis, our visit program will include connecting with our MoU partner Medical Alley Association, as well as the Mayo Clinic and their innovation exchange, Visible Heart® Laboratories UMN, Earl E. Bakken Medical Devices Center, UMN, Destination Medical Center (DMC). There will also be opportunities to network with the Minnesota healthcare and healthtech community hosted with the Medical Alley Association.
At The MedTech Conference in Toronto, the world’s most prominent global medtech conference, delegates will profile their products or services at the standout Australian Pavilion exhibit and take part in high-profile networking events. Here, the delegation will be joined by our Chair, the Hon. Jaala Pulford.
